Description
CRNA locums coverage in Michigan with a predictable weekday OR schedule and off site call structure, plus a longer term need due to staffing gaps. Mix of outpatient surgical and endoscopic cases with some OB.
Practice Setting
Inpatient hospital anesthesia service, adult patient population
Typical day averages 4 to 8 cases across OR and endoscopy
Case mix includes ortho, endo, general surgery, urology, and ENT, with some OB coverage
Support includes anesthesia techs, nurses, scrub techs, and dedicated Pre Op and PACU nurses
Schedule
Monday through Friday days, scheduled 6:45am to 3:00pm
Room time starts at 7:15am, anesthesia team typically arrives 6:30am to 6:45am
Weekday call 1 in 5, off site, 3:00pm to 7:00am
Weekend call typically once per month, off site, Friday 3:00pm through Monday 7:00am
Cases and Procedures
OB coverage required, labor epidurals and cesarean sections with spinal
Nerve block experience helpful but not required
Requirements
Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Board Certified
Michigan license required
Charting in Epic and Dragon
