- Practice across a full spectrum of cases, from outpatient/ambulatory procedures to highly complex surgical cases at a major academic medical center

- Structured, shift-based scheduling designed to provide clarity and predictability

Program Strength, Growth & Culture:
The Department of Anesthesiology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine is comprised of approximately 135 faculty, along with extensive CRNA and trainee support. Our program has a longstanding reputation for stability and satisfaction, with many residents choosing to stay or return, reflecting the supportive environment and meaningful career opportunities available here.
As part of a growing health system, you’ll benefit from ongoing investments in new ambulatory surgery centers, expanded surgical facilities, and approximately 120 anesthetizing locations, supporting over 100,000 cases annually.
