Locums Anesthesiology Physician in Iowa - Flexible Weekly Blocks

Anesthesiology Physician locums opportunity in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, offering ongoing hospital-based coverage with flexible block scheduling.

Highlights:

• Flexible weekly blocks, minimum one week per month
• Broad case mix in a Level III trauma center
• Minimal call responsibilities

Practice Setting:

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient surgical services
• Physician-led anesthesia model
• Level III trauma center with cardiac and OB services

Schedule:

• 8- or 10-hour shifts
• Weekday coverage with light call rotation
• Weekend call with 30-minute response time

Cases and Procedures:

• General anesthesia including ortho, GI, urology, and general surgery
• OB epidurals and cesarean sections
• Cardiac, vascular, and spine cases
• Healthy pediatric cases; no complex pediatric transfers

Requirements:

• Board Certified Anesthesiology Physician
• Active Iowa license or IMLC in hand
• ACLS and BLS
